Your snowboard boots are the most important part of your setup. You can have the best board and bindings on the hill, but if your boots don't fit properly, you're gonna have a bad time.

Boots should feel snug without being painful. They loosen up as you ride, so don't be surprised if they feel a little tight when you first put them on. We like to say your toes should just graze the end of the boot, because most boots pack out about half a size. If your toes are jammed, you're gonna have a bad time.

Finding the Right Boot

There isn't one snowboard boot that's right for everyone. The best choice depends on how you ride, the shape of your feet, and the level of support you're looking for.

If you're just getting started or spend more time in the rail park than the trees, a soft to medium flexing boot might be your jam. If you're riding aggressively, hitting big kickers, or spending a lot of time in steep terrain, you may prefer a stiffer boot that offers more support and response.

BOA®, Traditional Laces or Speed Laces?

Every lacing system has its advantages.

BOA® makes it quick and easy to get in and out of your boots. We're big fans of the Double BOA® system because it lets you adjust the upper and lower zones independently for a better fit. Every BOA® system is backed by a lifetime warranty. Traditional laces offer a more classic feel and are easy to replace if you ever break a lace. Speed lace systems are fast, and simple, but specific to each brand. Finding replacement parts can sometimes be a challenge.

Step On® or Traditional Boots?

Thinking about Burton Step On®? They've come a long way and have become a popular option for riders who want quick entry and exit without sacrificing performance. So if you like convenience and don't want to spend time sitting in the snow strapping in every run, it's worth a look.

Brands We Trust

We only stock the brands that weed, I mean, we'd ride ourselves. If it's in our shop, it's because we've tested it and believe that it's a good product.
